Iron Capital Story
Our journey first began in 1998 when our Founder, Mr. Seang Piseth, first moved from Kampong Thom province to Phnom Penh City with only USD25 to his name.
Having come from a poor family background, he traveled in hopes of securing a scholarship and creating a better future for his family and himself. That year, he was offered a scholarship by the prestigious Japan International Volunteer Center (JVC), an international NGO funded by Japan and headed by Mr. Uma Kiyoshi, due to their recognition of his potential and determination. For the next 2 years, Mr. Piseth would hone his knowledge and skills in automotive repair & maintenance, modern automotive equipment and advanced tool utilization under the tutelage of Mr. Sangha Tith, our current Board Director.
Upon graduation, he had recognized both the potential and shortcomings of the automotive industry in Cambodia and set out to open his first car workshop with the help of our current Chairwoman & Co-Founder, Ms. Sok Chanlin. Their starting capital at the time was USD100. It was their dream to one day see fellow Cambodians have equal access to quality automotive products & services throughout their network of workshops.
For the last 20 years, Mr. Piseth and Ms. Chanlin have encountered many challenges trying to research and bring the latest automotive techniques and hi-tech systems to Cambodia but have persevered through it all. Today, they are accomplished business owners with an impressive portfolio:

Launched and managing three major auto repair and maintenance workshops called Asia Auto with a team of almost 100 employees

Major importer of luxury and exotic cars like Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Bentley, Ferrari, Maserati (and more) from countries like Germany, Italy, USA, Russia, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Japan

Major importer of high quality and original spare parts from Japan, USA, Germany, Italy (and more)

Opened a warehousing company in USA called SH Auto as part of their supply chain

Official dealer for INKAS Armored Vehicles and secured distribution rights for Limos by Moonlightin Cambodia.
These accomplishments have since gained them the utmost confidence from local customers and foreign corporate partners alike leading Mr. Piseth to be a member of YPO Cambodia Chapter, a global leadership community of chief executives across 130 countries.
The journey now continues as a chanced meeting between our two Founders and Mr. Tommy Sim, a serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist managing over USD 400Min portfolio, has given birth to Iron Capital PLC. Their goal now is to transform the automotive ecosystem in Cambodia with ISO-standard workshops, technology-integrated automotive services, high skilled labor and a cost-efficient supply chain by year 2030.
